(Denver, CO) – In his “Fresh Faces” campaign, George Leing, candidate running against Jared Polis in Colorado’s 2nd Congressional is clearly in sync with the people of Colorado, shown to significantly favor Republican challengers over incumbents in both the Governor and Senate races according to Quinnipiac polls released yesterday.  In a tweet posted yesterday by the Editorial Board Editor of the Coloradan, Lauren Gustos quotes Leing stating, “If we send the same people back, we are going to get the same results.”
George Leing is the son of Chinese immigrants and counsel for a renewable energy company in his District.  George understands that the citizens of Colorado want to grow the economy, tighten the belt on government spending to make ends meet, and that the Affordable Care Act is not an acceptable health care solution, leaving thousands of Coloradans with no health care and the inability to keep their doctor or their plan.
In a Magellan poll Leing released in June, only 37% of CD2 respondents say Polis should be re-elected, with 43% agreeing it’s time to give someone new a chance.  Candidate George Leing would like to become that “Fresh Face” his District sends to Washington.
